The Royal Ballet U.S tour – July 2024

The Royal Ballet will make its debut at Jacob’s Pillow’s Dance Festival, based in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts, with a full takeover of the festival from 1 – 7 July 2024. Principals of The Royal Ballet, Matthew Ball, Mayara Magri, Natalia Osipova, Marcelino Sambé, Anna Rose O’Sullivan, and Sarah Lamb are scheduled to perform alongside Company dancers.*

We are delighted to be making our first visit to Jacob’s Pillow which, with its fantastic pioneering heritage, has made such an impact on international dance. It’s wonderful to shine a light on our own history and dance making, celebrating The Royal Ballet’s repertory past and present in this inaugural visit. We can’t wait for our dancers to connect with American audiences in this stunning location—what better setting to share our mutual love of the art form.

Key Dates

We plan to form a tour to bring our American Friends of Covent Garden together to accompany The Royal Ballet. The key dates are Monday 1 – Monday 8 July 2024 at Jacob’s Pillow with an optional first weekend in New York City from Friday 28 June – Monday 1 July 2024.*

General Info

Working closely with The Royal Ballet, we will offer a special programme of activity with members of the Company (their schedules permitting), including attendance at rehearsals and performances, talks and workshops, company class, celebratory dinners, post show receptions, and in conversation events.*

Alongside these moments will be a trip to the renowned music venue Tanglewood and opportunities to be transported back to The Gilded Age in Berkshire County, famous for its natural beauty, rich history, and picturesque New England houses.*

We will ask supporters to cover the costs of all these activities, and any other costs, in addition to a donation to support the work of The Royal Ballet.
